What's the Scindapsis secret?

I have problems keeping Scindapsis alive for some reason. I get them, they look right for a little while, then they start that curling. The soil is moist. Sometimes, I haven't even watered the plants yet. I found this Mount Salak and a satin pothos. I'm trying again with them. All the internet says are the same, triggering words. Bright, I direct light. And water when the first 2 inches of soil is dry. Is there anything special anyone does to help theirs thrive? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

@wolfqueen I have a few satin pothos. I’ve also killed a few before I figured them out so I understand the frustration. I’ve found that using an ariod soil amended with worm castings, ground charcoal and perlite works well for this plant. I keep mine under grow lights 12 hours a day. Depending on their placement in the house, some get brighter light than others but all seem to be doing well. I cut one of mine back and have some rooting and a few cuttings potted. Same thing when potting them. Ariod soil amended as above. I water every 7-10 days and once or twice a month I add miracle grow plant food granules in the water for fertilizer. I don’t user regular fertilizer The key is finding the right moisture and light balance at the same time. If your satin Pothos leaves are curling, you are overwatering so cut back on that and keep in brighter light.
