Splitting leaves
#Peperomia The leaves on my Ginny Peperomia are splitting, the soil is damp. Any ideas? I have him sitting on my window ledge facing east.

Low humidity will cause leaves to split. Don’t have her near AC in the summer or a heater in the winter. If humidity is low you can get a humidifier. Small table top humidifiers are reasonably priced. Or create a more humid environment with a tray of water with pebbles in it and put her on top of the pebbles. Don’t let the bottom of the pot touch water otherwise it will soak up water and then be overwatered. And use clean pebbles, marbles or similar items. If you gather pebbles from outside clean them really well first. You don’t want to introduce something from outside into your house plants. She’d probably like a good misting 💦 now and then.
