Drooping

#ZebraElephantEar
Why is my plant drooping ? It’s only the outer few leaves that are really doing it. I only got her about a two weeks ago. Repotted her because they had her in overly moist dense soil with no drainage. None of my other alocasias have given me any issues like this so I’m just not sure. She was bottom watered 2 days ago and gets lots of natural indirect light. I’m just not sure what to do for her
Should I stake her like an orchid ? 😭😭
Hi Izabella! I’ve found all Alocasia to be super dramatic about changes in environment and repotting. I’m guessing yours is just having a fit! Those stems won’t be helped by staking. I leave mine on until they turn completely yellow, then trim off. It took my zebrina about 6 months to really experience a turn around after I brought her home and repotted- she would only keep 3 leaves at a time. But with lots of support (good light, humidity) and patience, she came roaring back and is putting out her 6th leaf! I have a stake to help the entire plant not tip over from the weight of the massive new leaves, but since I added a grow light above her, she’s starting to reach for the light and stabilize herself.
