Mealy bugs

Hi, I’ve just discovered mealy bugs on my Hoya. I feel I’ve done a decent job searching high and low & cleaning all of the nooks and crannies they would be hiding... I’m not sure if it’s paranoia (I’m not sure if I’m seeing bugs or just soil bits like perlite lol) or my need to be thorough & go above and beyond but I’m wondering if I should go ahead and water the plant with peroxide too? What ratio do I use? Tips would be greatly appreciated! I never want to see these things again! πŸͺ² Thanks in advance! bugs">#mealybugs #PLANTMAFIA

Have you tried cleaning the roots. Sometimes they like to stay on the roots so it’s good to look at them well also they have a plant growth serum that’s about 6$ on Amazon that also prevents bugs, pests, and rotting.
Whenever I find pests I water with peroxide to be on the safer side. I do one part peroxide to three parts water. Since the peroxide you find in stores is usually 3%, you could get away with a higher ratio but it’s not necessary. Good luck! I hope you beat it quickly
@Planthippie00 I’ll look into it. I do have neem oil that I love, I wonder if the serum is similar to it? The roots are super important, so you bring up a good point. Thank you.
@Dreamy-Sparrow awesome, 1 to 3, a good thing to remember. Thank you very much! I will do that. πŸš°πŸ€πŸ’¦
