@UnhamperedRosea here is an ant spray that’s safe for plants.

Garden Safe 80422 Houseplant and Garden Insect Killer, 24-Ounce Spray https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000LNWJXW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_HKVX9V4MZNK3PMHEFXB4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
@UnhamperedRosea I would use a water house and rise all the dirt away from your plant and repot it. Be careful with the roots as well. Repot it using a well draining soil. I would also use a tray filled with pebbles and fill it with water and that will keep the ants away from your plant. Be careful not to get the water high enough that does thru your drainage hole.
@KikiGoldblatt is right. We should tag answers as #PestControl because if you have plants, you're gonna have bugs!

We have something here in the Southern US called hominy Grits- it's hominy corn dried and ground. We eat them for breakfast and they are delicious.

Turns out, Grits are delicious to ants, too- but they can't digest them. The ants gather the grits, take them back to the nest, share with everyone ... then they all die. All it takes is a few sprinkles of grits. (:

If you don't have grits, you probably have a hose. You can soak the root ball and evict the ants that way.
I use dried marigold leaves to deter insects.
