Nothing is going on at this point as that succulent is dead. Looks like all of your plants are in distress from overwatering and no drainage. It appears there are all in the same pot so I would suggest repotting them into separate pots and making sure the pots are made of terra-cotta that it has drainage that youβre using succulent soil and that you fill out the rest of the information on your plant especially you need to increase the lighting these plants like lots of sun and not very much water. οΏΌ Keep in touch and follow the instructions on Greg and youβll be just fine. π₯°οΏΌοΏΌ
Thank you for your response. Yes I have them all in the same container. I had ordered pots for them but I got the plants before the pots. So I did what I could and planted them in succulents soil until I got the pots. All the others in this container are fine. This is the only one dying or dead π. I donβt overwater and they get plenty of sun. So I guess I just didnβt understand why this particular one is dying. It has been fine for several weeks after I plated it then the past few days it just started shriveling up.
@FabDogrose97 Hi Angie, welcome to Greg. I'm sorry I don't have an answer for you. I don't know why there isn't some kind of FAQ available or tutorial because you wouldn't automatically know but when you're responding to an in particular person use their @ like i did your name at the beginning of my comment so that you will be notified that I responded to you otherwise the person won't know that you have responded. Anyway, I hope you get this figured out. I know nothing about Lithops. This tag might also help #lithopsarmy getting your post out to people who are familiar with them. Have a great day βΊοΈ
@FabDogrose97 Hello! As @BEsucculent said, terracotta pots are the way!! Bright light too! You can find some decently priced ones at Loweβs or Home Depot. Also keep in mind that a lot of succulents have a βdormancyβ period during the winter, so be very sparse with your watering as overwatering can lead to root rot! When you repot them, be sure to check the roots of your other plants to make sure they arenβt mushy or anything like that! Also keep in mind that repotting a plant too often can stress it out and stunt growth or even kill it.
