A little over a week
Hey guys I got this Agave a little over a week ago and I just repotted it. Just want to see if anyone noticed anything wrong with it.
Just want to do right by the plant haha. It’s weird getting used to watering it every other week.
I just repotted it with cactus soil and threw some perlite in there.
Any feedback would be awesome ❤️🥰

@ChampPinoak32 Hi Chase👋☺️ it looks good if anything it might be in a little shock from the repot but that's normal. I wouldn't put it on a watering schedule though. There are many different conditions that cause soil to dry out quicker or slower. That's why you can't really put it on a quote unquote schedule. Agave like to dry out in between watering. So make sure the soil is completely dry before you water it. You can't really put your finger in there cuz there's no room to check the soil but you could use a chopstick and stick it directly down into the soil if it comes out discolored or if it has any like soil crumbs stuck to it then it's not dried out yet. Snooze the plant on the app and it will come back around again 2 to 3 days. When the app tells you to water always check your plant to see if it's ready. Think of it as a suggestion that it's probably time to check it. Once it's completely dried out water it well until you see water coming out of the bottom of the pot. Then put it back outside until the soil is completely dry again. I know it feels weird not to water it as much as you think it needs. But really the leaves hold a lot of water. They need to because where they grow naturally in the desert of Mexico it's really hot there and it doesn't rain often. But when it rains, it rains! That's why I say let it dry out and then water it well to create how it naturally lives in the wild. 👍
