No, holiday cactiβs are not toxic to cats, but they can cause gastrointestinal issues if eaten large amounts.
Personally, to be safe and not sorry, I would try to keep your kitty/animals away from your plants πͺ΄
I have 6 animals so I know it can be extremely difficult at times, but you donβt want to take a chance.
One of my bunnies got into one of my snake plants while I was cleaning the cage and I immediately panicked π±
Snake plants are toxic to ALL animalsβ¦.I canβt afford a vet bill right now, what do I do?!?
Luckily she only ate a very small piece so I just kept an eye on her. She was fine π° but shhhh was I worried to death!!

Yeah, I had both of those up away from cats so they canβt get to them. The one I was reading the info said that it was nontoxic and I didnβt think that to be true. Thatβs why I put it out there asking. Cause my whole life, I had a pound in my head that Christmas cactuses are poisonous. If eaten.
@JenniferNoel see I was told just the opposite that they were not toxic. Thatβs why I purposely went and bought a bunch of them. I have five right now and hopefully soon to have more soon. But my cats arenβt attracted to plants like that they love to get into spider plants anything that has dangling leads I bought them a cat palm they destroyed that real quick. So I avoid buying any plants that dangle down if you know what I mean. But the snake trees theyβve never bothered with them.#οΏΌ
