Wondering what’s going on with Darla… when I got her the soil was literally soaked so I let it dry up some and have done some occasional watering.. this particular leaf feels very weak and flimsy and the others don’t feel as strong as they were before either… am I underwatering? Or is it something else? @GracedStrapwort @Luckeecharm1

I would check the roots for rot. If they are white or tan and firm, they are ok. If dark brown or black and mushy, there is root rot. If that is the case, remove the mushy black roots. Spray the remaining roots with hydrogen peroxide. Repot in airy, well draining soil. Do not water for about a week. Before watering, put a wooden chop stick into the dirt and leave it for a few minutes. When you remove it, if it is wet, don't water. If it is dry, it's OK to water.
@MsJudah12 I agree with @GracedStrapwort
Misshapen growth is usually a sign of something happening in the roots, either rot or something else
I repotted as suggested by @GracedStrapwort the roots looked and felt ok. The soil however was super soaked and gross looking… almost like mud. I should’ve checked this post once more before repotting because left out the chopstick and did some light watering. I hope that’s not life or death for her… also hoping this bigger pot allows her space to thrive .. she seemed to be cramped in the other
Good luck! She looks happy in her new home.
Good luck - looks like you are doing the correct things. Happy Weekend @MsJudah12 @GracedStrapwort @GardenCat43
