I’m new to plants. I wanted to say hello, hope you and your plants are well. :) I do have questions. Is starting with i hyacinth flower hard? What pot should I put it in? Also I heard they are poisonous should I be washing my hands and wearing gloves? I just got it today someone gifted it to me. I know these may be dumb questions but idk what I’m doing.

I also just got my first hyacinth last week! I wish I had more advice but gardening can honestly be so tricky… mine is already getting a couple crunchy flowers 😩🥴 I just troubleshoot as I go and slowly learn.
Most household plants are safe to touch, especially if you bought them at a store (and it didn’t have a carry handle) so I wouldn’t worry about that. But don’t eat/ let your pets eat them. Good luck!
