Hello, Here is my Dragon’s Breath plant I just put it out...

Hello, Here is my Dragon’s Breath plant I just put it out in full sun that 8+ hours of the blazing Florida sun ☀️. She seems to really like it, so far. I am keeping a close eye on her. At the first sign of discomfort, I’m going to move her back towards the shade. @4eva #PlantsMakePeopleHappy @AdonicKohleria2 @applepie @BabeVila @BuffCaperspurge @CutePolypremum #PlantCorner @DanDenMan @DreamMachine @CutePolypremum @HFplantoasis @FunBoglaurel81 @HFplantoasis @HummingbirdMint @Idplantthat @Jadedbelle @Jujube @Luckeecharm1 @maci.in.bloom @ModestCoconut13 @Ms.Persnickety @newplantgirlies @Preciousplants1 @princesspitstop @QuickKalopanax @somewhatsara @SolaceInSunshine @stephongreg @doctorgoom @MamaLinne @Jho @Ponytailmom
@Malagueña she’s amazing, after living in Florida I appreciate the vast beauty and attraction of its splendid surroundings. 👍🏽
@Malagueña

You have the most magnificent variety of plants, etc.

You're educating me and I'm loving it!

Thanks, Bob
I freaking love 💕 🥰💕 that! It’s so gorgeous; it looks like it’s soft, almost like a velvet look?
Beautiful Bob! @Malagueña Did you slowly acclimate her to full sun? They need to build up their “plant sunscreen” by being exposed to sun slowly, working up to full sun over the period of a few weeks! Love this one, so floofy 😍🤩
@DreamMachine , yes she was at first inside. Then on my walkway. Then outside with about 5+ hours of sunlight. I was reading an article about the dragon’s breath and it said they need 8+ hours so I just moved her over to where she’s getting more sun. I’m just a little concerned because this Florida sun. It is different than the sun up north. It’s much more intense and hot.
@Malagueña oh great! You did your research 👏 👏
Please do!! Shes gorgeous!! I managed to get sunburn on 81 plants after a 70 degree afternoon while moving 5 minutes to new home (in PGH.! of all places)!!! They r all just now getting baxk to normal since 5/31 but they had never been outside & i wasg ot so caught up w/the moving portion, it was 3 hrs later before i notoced some burning on my Monsteras! Every last one, of every type Monstera!! After actually crying for being so stupid, i dusted myself off, got them shaded and spronkled w/faraway hose. Let them destress there for some time and finally broight them in, some back under their lighrs, some not but all getting back to normal! Ill never forgove myself as their keeper but ill have them all back ro normal by months end. Still a high price to pay from livong their best life to barely keepin’ it together.🤞🫶🪴🌿. Good luck, shes a beaut
@BuffCaperspurge , thanks Tacy. I have been keeping an eye on her. She is now in full Sun and looks better than ever and growing.
@BuffCaperspurge Tacy!! I was just thinking of you and your plants the other day!! Oh I’m so sorry to hear that, but also relieved that it does seem that they’re mostly getting back to normal?

I hope you haven’t beaten yourself up about it… you had (let’s be real, probably ‘still have’ 😝) so much on your plate, especially with moving. (Moving is a royal pain in the backside!!) Easy for me to say though, because I know I would feel exactly the same way in that situation 😭 But I KNOW your plants know you love them so so much 🌬️ ♥️♥️🫂🌿🫶

Ps. I know it’s probably a typo, but I really enjoyed “spronkled with a hose.” 😁
@DreamMachine rhamls Nadia! I was checking out my progress pics on my Oasis and determined to get them back to that growth!! Ive been posting Chapters periodically as thongs occur (i went from Epilogue to Chapter 2 so i am hopeful!!) thanls for the good thoughts i can take all the positive vibes i can get my froend!!🫶🪴🌿🤞🤞
@DreamMachine pic 1) Croton the Magnificent, after losing every last leaf is coming back! 2) new growth on Sage., Quen, my baby Ti & my parlour palm hanging on. We will get back to other palms & monsteras when the time is right! The larger they were, the more damage! 4) my BofP i was ambiguous about sending her pic as her 16“ leaf was a goner but she will be fine. Thats my Yucca behind her (u could toss him in a saw mill and he woyld come out same as he went in!!! Thanks for ur good thoughts !!! Keep ’em comin cause i need them!! Not everyone is ready for lights yet so thats when i expect my most dramatic improvements🤞🤞🫶🫶🫶🪴
@BuffCaperspurge YAY 🙌🥰🥳

LOL about the Yucca in a saw mill 🤣🤣 And crotons are surely amazing. Just like calatheas in that they can lose every leaf but come back better than before 🙌 I do not grow any BoP but she looks magnificent!! Your ‘worst’ is a lot of people’s ’best!’ 😘 Hope you have a lovely Sunday. Don’t work too hard! And happy Summer Solstice!! ☀️🌴🪼🦋
@DreamMachine same to u my friend. Btw, i try tp ignore my Calathea & she just keeps growing!!! (worse than my ZZ’S!!! LOL
@BuffCaperspurge me too!! I think that’s why mine do so well 😅 I see problems when people fuss over them!
She’s doing very well out in the blazing sun. I just checked on her. The heat index today is 111° with an actual temperature of 94.
