Any tips for my felt bush's sun woes?

Tips on helping this guy feel more lively? I temporarily moved back home with family, and the sun situation has not been the same πŸ˜“ She has a grow light, but it doesn’t seem to be helping too much #feltbush #succulent
5ft to light, indirect
3” pot with drainage

If the info on the plant card is accurate, 5 feet away from the grow light is probably way too far
@melaza woops, I just realized that might mean it’s 5 feet from a window?
@melaza Yeah, it’s 5 feet away from the window right now but directly under the grow light πŸ₯² i’m trying the light because it did not seem to be getting enough sunlight in our best windows for light
How far is it from the grow light? & what kind of grow light is it? Most of the grow lights I have used that can be plugged into regular light sockets say that high-light plants like cactus & succulents need to be about 6” away to get enough light.
How wet is the pot? Maybe u should let it dry out for a while if it is wet.
@FunPeanut I’ve been waiting until the soil is crumbly and dry. My mom’s house is really dry even with a humidifier, so I use a moisture meter to test it and allow it to sit at a 1 for a few days before watering (slowed it down a tad for winter, and I test every 4-5 days).
I learned that I have to water more frequently than the app or the web generally recommend, since the soil for these small pots can get so dry within 2 weeks that the root balls come loose from the soil.
@starshooter the watering frequency sounds about right & I see from the photo that the light is pretty close already… hmm!! Have the other plants been doing well under the light?
@melaza I haven’t really noticed it making much of a difference with any of them, so I’m wondering if it’s maybe time for another, better bulb!
Yeah that was going to be my suggestion πŸ˜‡ I don’t get a lot of natural light either, so these are the ones I have used & they worked really well - the succulents I rescued even got β€œsun stress” & started getting reddish tips! I included pics of the before & after 2 months with the grow light.
@melaza Awesome, thanks so for the suggestion!!
