Officially had to call it on my #Peperomia Cupid … we gave it a good fight but I guess it wasn’t meant to be. He just had trouble almost right from the start.

Ohh noooo. Was it root rot? I have a small one that FINALLY took off.. seems like it took ages tok actually grow...
My raindrop peperomia 😩😩😩 it got root rot. I chopped it and propped it in water and it grew roots but the roots never really got long to the point I felt I could put it in soil. Then it got root rot AGAIN.. I finally gave up and tossed it 😩💚🌱

I have no idea if it was root rot or what. It came home in August and was wilting badly within a week. When I repotted the roots seemed short but not rotted. Sadly it didn’t seem to make any difference and he kept declining one stem at a time

@lemrobs I'm so sorry😔 it really is a pretty plant too. Where did you get it if you don't mind my asking? I got an njoy from planterina and mines rotted IMMEDIATELY and same started happening with the Pearl's and jade I purchased with them at the same time. When I went to repot what was left of the Pearl's and jade into a smaller pot, I noticed it was like.... how to describe it... like a ton of props thrown into a pot.. like jam packed.. then severely over watered. I watered both once when I got them home and they started to rot 🤷🏾♀️.

This one surprisingly was from plant proper. They’re always so great, I figure I did something to mess this one up. I know a lot of people got this same plant from them not long after I did and they seem to be fine. So weird!
