This is my absolute favorite plant I’ve ever taken care of! I know they get a lot of hate for being finicky but she has given me a new leaf at least once a week and I just love her sassy “im closing my leaves now” behavior when she needs a water. Much love for the #Stromanthe #StromantheTriostar

@YoungKaro79 Yay for stromanthe love!! I also ADORE my stromanthe 🥰 She is one of the least finicky of my plants, and I just had to give her a bigger pot because she had some wild growth—so many baby offshoots! I’m just obsessed with every leaf being a different pattern 😱 Do you have any ctenanthes? My ctenanthe lubbersiana is another top fav for super fast growth and no fuss 🥰
@DreamMachine No I don’t, but I LOVE!!! I got my mom one for her birthday one year and I think I was more obsessed than she was with it🤣
@YoungKaro79 They are in the same family and have similar growth patterns. I love ALL my marantaceae family— regular marantas and calathea/geoppertia too, but ctenanthes and stromanthes are at the top for me 🥰 I just love them. I think *you* deserve a new plant too, 🤗😇 (even though that was a very nice gift for your mom 😁)
