Emily is seeking to be struggling a little. I repotted her to a larger pot a couple weeks ago because she seemed to be growing unhappy and she hasn’t recovered. How can I help?!

It’s hard to say for sure but I think I see fine webbing here? If so, this indicates a spider mite issue which is pretty common with Alocasia plants! I’m not sure if the dusty/tan appearance is normal for this plant, but it’s also leading me to think there’s a pest issue. Spider mites will cause yellowing of the edges of the leaf which I also see! If you suspect this is a pest issue, I’ve also included a recipe for at home pesticide that will help immensely!
Hey! Can you share a few more pics of the entire plant?
@elisenavidad OMG YES!!! This is my first time with this. I don’t have all of those ingredients, but I did wash her with peroxide and Dawn 😬🫣
Save Emily!!
@SamBaines perfect!! The dawn dish soap should help suffocate the spider mites & their eggs. You may have to reapply this a few times!
@elisenavidad so I made a concoction of dawn, peroxide, neem oil and water. Let it sit a few minutes and rinsed πŸ™πŸ»
@SamBaines yay!! Hopefully that will do the trick. You may have to reapply a few times to ensure you’ve fully eradicated them!
She isn’t super mad at me! New leaf coming out this morning!!!!
