#HoaryStingingNettle was struggling indoors; flourishing after a couple weeks in part shade outside!
Seriously? You bought a stinging nettle? It's such a mean weed around St. Louis, I can't imagine that it's not a weed in Cape. What drew you to it as a houseplant?
@UltraKoreanfir Not exactly as a houseplant (Iβ€˜ve got a little indoor greenhouse area in the basement), but, nutrition profile! They contain lots of vitamin C, fats, and a fair amount of protein which is somewhat rare for a plant. Iβ€˜ve read they can be used in creams to aid in inflammatory conditions, such as arthritis, as well.
@SinewyDigitfern That's awesome! You should write all about that in a #medicinalmonday post! That group never took off real well because there is a lot of taboo around providing "healing advice" by non-medical personnel, but posting about medicinal properties of plants shouldn't be taboo in my opinion.

Do you plan to use it? If so, how? Will you cook it? A salve?
@UltraKoreanfir I think Iβ€˜ll try a bit of both; dehydrate and powderize most of it as bulk ingredient for powerbars. Though I must see about making a sample of salve for my grandmother, Iβ€˜m curious of itβ€˜s efficacy.
