What is the problem with my citronella? Too little water? Too much sun? too much water? Needs fertilizer??
7” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 day ago
It’s looking a little droopy and stressed but easily fixed.

First, check the soil - only water if the top few centimetres of soil is entirely dry. When you do water it soak it until water runs from the bottom and then leave it alone. Double check that the pot is draining well, you don’t want water building up and choking the roots.

Next, if it’s getting blasted with sun all day, try moving it to a spot that gets morning light and some afternoon shade.

Lastly, when plants look stressed fertilizer is never the answer, it will burn the roots and make the situation even worse.

You can also go ahead and trim off any brown and dead leaves, it’ll help improve air flow around the base.

Hopefully it’ll perk up after a couple of days.
I think too much sun is probably right on. I’m watering only every several days….thank you
