It looks like a big spider. I don't think I've ever seen one before. Very cool.
@Stall54Jo lol, right? And, they are rare. I found this one at a nursery in Ohio.
What kind is this? This one is my fav from the group
@Boymom-plantmom

RHIPSALIS FLOCCOSA SSP. PULVINIGERA
@Boymom-plantmom yours is gorgeous!!!!
@HyggeVibes oh wow
@HyggeVibes thank you! Love these guys! Will have to look up yours!! πŸ‘€β€οΈ
I think it's a mistletoe cactus. I have had mine 8 yrs or so.
@SurefootedPecan I bought it from a huge cacti farm in Ohio- Groovy plant Ranch, it was tagged as a rare Rhipsalis. Unless what you are saying is that they are one in the same.
This is my Pencil Cactus. It is a Euphorbia Tirucalli. My mistletoe cactus is a rhipsalsis baccitera. So they are related. Since yours was droopy, I thought it might be a mistletoe. It will be more clear as it grows.
@SurefootedPecan ahhhh. I have a pencil cactus too.
Sorry to be such a pain. I made a correction on the mistletoe.. it is a Rhipsalis.
@SurefootedPecan - see the official name at top of photo.
@SurefootedPecan - not a pain. I enjoy interaction.
@SurefootedPecan - my pencil cactus.
@SurefootedPecan - love you ✏️
@SurefootedPecan - interestingly, there are a lot of mistletoe in trees on our AZ desert property.
Some say to get rid of all of it; as it’s invasive and will strangle the trees.
Others say that winter birds eat the berries, and to not get rid of them.
I think we will get rid of massive ones to save our desert trees, and allow the smaller ones to remain.
Finally, I found your plant. It must be rare! Can't wait to see it as it grows. Your pencil cactus really looks beautiful. Love you too.
Is it Christmas time mistletoe you put above your door for a kiss? Or a cactus?
@SurefootedPecan it’s definitely grown since I bought it. Hoping it will thrive in the Arizona sunshine.
@SurefootedPecan LOL- no idea!!!!
Funny girl.
