I recently saved an Alocasia from Lowe’s. After a week of settling in I decided to repot. Lo and behold… 1 plant became 2 + a baby and there were 13 corms in the soil. I’ve never propagated an Alocasia before but I’m going to give it a try. I’m using several different mediums and hope something works. 🤞🏻😍
Wow so exciting, I bought my very first one last month and repotted no luck but I’m patient love watching my plants grow. I mostly get smalls to enjoy long time.
Holy Moly !!!. You don’t even get this lucky if you find some growing in some rich person‘s yard, and you go in heavily with a shovel. lmfao
believe these are the bohemian giants ?
I had permission don’t worry.
13 corns tho wow & the frydeks like yours I still think is the most beautiful one I’ve seen. if you give them too much light, the coloring will begin to bleach, and the glossy part will fade fast just a heads up.
@OhGollyItsJolly oh no I like the stripes thanks for the heads up
@GemWaxvine23 see what I mean? Can you guess which leaf was getting hit by the sun directly?
@OhGollyItsJolly oh wow, I think I will move mine a bit out of the sunlight
