Over/under watering Aloe Vera?
Over/under watering Aloe Vera?
@TotalPothos I agree with @Stephazar , it looks slightly overwatered to me, since the oldest leaves appear a bit waterlogged instead of dry or crispy. The black/brown spots could be signs of oedema. π€ How often are you watering? Do you wait for the soil to be 100% dry? The problem with regular potting mix, which forgive me if Iβm wrong, but it looks like thatβs what youβre using, retains too much moisture for an aloe. They will need a much grittier substrate. You can amend your potting mix by adding a lot more perlite, pumice, lava rock or what have you. Perlite is more cost effective and easier to get a hold of, and will do what you need it to!
