Einstein the cactus grows taller! ๐Ÿ˜๐ŸŽ‰

Hi guys. It's exciting news for me. Einstein has shown some growth. It's taller. I've waited for this for 4 months. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰ @LittleSongbird @UltraKoreanfir @Bunny413 @GaryPoopins @TidyTigerpear @vvvelo @SirLiquorice

That's awesome!! His color is looking great too. How is his rust treatment going?
Not getting any worse. I'm happy too. @LittleSongbird
I think, apart from corking, Einstein is healthy. Yaaay
He's looking so good!! I was staring at my new cactus thinking. . . Are you growing?? How do I know if you need water?? ๐Ÿคฃ
Which is your new cactus @Bunny413 ?
@SvelteKingfern Freiderich! I'm also trying to figure out how to pot him. He didn't ship very well, but he has me a bit intimidated.
@Bunny413 yes cactus have been intimidating for me lately I had a couple simple cacti and wasnโ€™t able to keep them alive due to poor soil mix and knowledge but now that Iโ€™ve tested out gritty mix, I would recommend that for all cacti honestly & some succulents like Echeveria, etc. they seem to thrive in that type of soil, & rotting seems to be a continuing cause for my cacti casualties ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜ณ donโ€™t be too intimidated. I would recommend repotting, get a slightly larger pot because they like that tightness, & that means thereโ€™s less room for rot. a porous pot and porous soil go a long way! Iโ€™m sure you already know all this. But just wanted to give you some tips ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿคญ
Congrats on your growth Sophie ! I think itโ€™s sweet that you love taking in the plants that are struggling, to help them have a better longer life ๐Ÿฅน๐ŸŒฑ Iโ€™ll tell you itโ€™s not easy buying a plant with problems or receiving a plant with problems and treating it or nursing it back to health. I think youโ€™re doing a great job with Einstein! The corking seems like it hasnโ€™t spread anymore and the green means new growth! ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป
๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ @TidyTigerpear
I simply love my plants LOL

I asked the owner of Einstein to give it to me for that very reason. I thought enough is enough of suffering for this poor plant.
Einstein had a pup. I propagated it, and it's growing. It's Athena @TidyTigerpear
I wonder if he just goes through some seasonal shrinkage, then grows again. I'm glad he has made you happy! Looking good!
I have no idea @UltraKoreanfir Melisse . I just look at him ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿคจ. I thought maybe he was unwell inside in his body, and now got better (?)
Who knows? ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜‰
