Feeling hopeful, there doesnโ€™t seem to be any rot in the top part of the cactus. Letting it callous over and then I will attempt propagating! The lighting is horrible in these pictures, it is greener than it looks here

Great! Let it callous over for a week or so, then plant in cactus soil! Yay!
@SerenePoisonivy Once you place it in soil, donโ€™t water it until it has established roots. If the cactus has no roots it canโ€™t absorb water so no need to water until there are roots.
@Ms.Persnickety ooooh good to know, I wouldโ€™ve watered it after planting!
