I had chocolate mints before when I lived in another state and really enjoyed growing them . I ordered two chocolate mint plants from a supplier in California. What I got didn’t look or smell even remotely like a chocolate mint. But to follow the advice since it was shipped to me, I allowed the two week timeframe to allow the plants to decompress. The stems never turned into that dark color like normal chocolate plants do. I even reached out to the supplier who gave me further directions. Let me know from the picture if you think these are mint plants or some type of weed that looks similar to mint.

That looks like a regular Mint plant- looks just like mine did (grew it last year), but could also be Basil?
