I got a small aloe plant and replanted in a new bigger pot but I noticed that there are 2 leaves that are wilting and look like they are rotting. Any advice?
What type of soil? Are you overwatering?
I am following this. Because EVERY TIME I repot an aloe, it dies. It’s been about 18 months since I’ve tried, but these are exactly what the beginning stages of mine look like. I thought Aloe care was meant to be easier 😞
@CleanIcarus39 I hope someone has helpful advice to save your baby.
Too much water again aloe is a succulent 100% is the problem
i’ve noticed in my lifetime of killing aloe that the more you leave it alone the better it does the bigger it will grow unless it is absolutely bone desert dry then a it may need some water. And typically what is the first thing you do after you transplant a plant you water it that’s what’s killing it. Tell yourself the suckling is kind of thick. It does not need water whatsoever and may not need water for a month
But don’t worry!! The piece that falls off, just move it to another pot, put it in some dirt and it will possibly grow roots.

as crazy as it sounds, if the soil fills moist, I suggest taking it out of the pot completely and letting it sit there until it dries out and then putting it back in the pot and don’t water it until it looks like it needs water
