My wifeโ€™s cyclamen. We didnโ€™t expect it to bloom again until autumn, but itโ€™s in its full glory again now #Cyclamen flowerpower">#flowerpower floweringPlants">#floweringPlants flowers">#flowers
@CordialWildyam congratulations on the Reblooming of your cyclamen. I am totally impressed. I killed mine right after I received it. Bloomed and died. I think I overwatered it. But not sure.๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿปโ˜บ๏ธ
@CourtlyKingfern Iโ€™ve never seen one like this. The leaves are huge, too. I donโ€™t know how she did it, because itโ€™s constantly a little wetter than Iโ€™d be comfortable withโ€ฆbut itโ€™s happy and no gnats so ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™‚๏ธ
I would love to know her secret for watering lighting soil and temp @CordialWildyam I also killed mine after it was done blooming.
@Stall54Jo itโ€™s sitting in the kitchen, next to a south-facing window that gets only brief morning light. The only other light it gets is from the room lights in the evening and the distant aerogarden lights that itโ€™s next to. Itโ€™s 75ish in the house in summer, maybe closer to 80 where that plant is. Standard garden center potting mix, watered every once in a while when โ€œit seems like it needs it.โ€ Diluted miracle gro flower and vegetable fertilizer once a month
@Stall54Jo I asked, and apparently the watering regimen is pretty strict - 2oz every other day, sometimes skipping a day if itโ€™s been really humid and the soil is still waterlogged
