My wifeโs cyclamen. We didnโt expect it to bloom again until autumn, but itโs in its full glory again now #Cyclamen flowerpower">#flowerpower floweringPlants">#floweringPlants flowers">#flowers
@CordialWildyam congratulations on the Reblooming of your cyclamen. I am totally impressed. I killed mine right after I received it. Bloomed and died. I think I overwatered it. But not sure.๐ค๐๐๐ปโบ๏ธ
@CourtlyKingfern Iโve never seen one like this. The leaves are huge, too. I donโt know how she did it, because itโs constantly a little wetter than Iโd be comfortable withโฆbut itโs happy and no gnats so ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ
I would love to know her secret for watering lighting soil and temp @CordialWildyam I also killed mine after it was done blooming.
@Stall54Jo itโs sitting in the kitchen, next to a south-facing window that gets only brief morning light. The only other light it gets is from the room lights in the evening and the distant aerogarden lights that itโs next to. Itโs 75ish in the house in summer, maybe closer to 80 where that plant is. Standard garden center potting mix, watered every once in a while when โit seems like it needs it.โ Diluted miracle gro flower and vegetable fertilizer once a month
@Stall54Jo I asked, and apparently the watering regimen is pretty strict - 2oz every other day, sometimes skipping a day if itโs been really humid and the soil is still waterlogged
