Does anyone know what happened to this guy??? I just got him a week or so ago and noticed he’s all deflated!! I put him in a terra cotta pot with other succulents as someone here suggested. Maybe I shouldn’t have? Does this mean he is completely dead? #SplitRock #succulent

@DoughtyTutsan52 Hi Karen- I’m very sorry to say that I believe he is a goner- what kind of soil did you put him in? I would have used a quality cactus soil mix and would have waited to water him for several days after I repotted him. Maybe just look at it as a learning experience? Soil, water and light are very important for all plants but especially for a cactus- I’m sorry! I always try to find a second opinion online when I get advice from someone on here just to make sure I’m getting good advice. So next time I would try that for sure! Have a great day!
@Ponytailmom thank you for responding. I did use a cactus soil that’s from Lowe’s. I think there were a ton of gnats in it though cause they’re everywhere. I think I messed up though but not getting enough of the soil off that it came in. That part was really wet, all other soil felt dry around it. I thought I only watered a little bit when I repotted but obviously not. I did find some stuff online about it I feel bad for not reading before. I feel really bad for killing him. What a learning curve it is.
@DoughtyTutsan52 If that was a Lithops/split rock they have very specific care instructions. They should be planted alone. I wouldn't even recommend planting them with other Lithops. Here is a YouTube video that will explain their care better than I can. Just so you'll know how to care for them if you decide to get another. It's an excellent video that explains their life cycle and individual care.

@Error_Reboot aww I’m sorry!! I’m thinking it was bad when I bought it cuz I had it for like 12 days and barely watered it when I repotted it the 12 days before it deflated. I’m have two others that are still alive, same age, hopefully they do ok.
