I transferred my Alocasias by removing most or all roots, and ALL traces of soil. I propagated some in water and some went directly into (soaked) LECA. The ones that went straight to LECA transitioned fastest. This is only my personal experiment and I am far from an expert so proceed with caution and research heavily before attempting 🙏🏻 😅
