this is my newest crêpe myrtle. I didn’t really plan on buying any, but I didn’t plan on finding a black one on clearance either so that blew my mind I had to have it. never even knew they existed. “They didn’t till roughly 3 years ago”
The white ones and pink ones in the yard are absolutely massive. I mean they must be 20 or 30 feet. I trim them back every year till about head high.
The multiple different Sharon’s we have here are also about as big. Let me see if I can find this picture best pic I’ve taken of a Roase of Sharon every bit of 20ft & full bloom that’s not today that was actually a year or two ago. I just happened to be walking the dog and walked by and was like wow had to take a picture.
if I could have shared all those pictures, I just scrolled through of plants to find these two pictures you would have fainted
