@RJG it's gonna be a surprise! I had a white and yellow one for 10 years - it was huge and beautiful. When I had my final child, I forgot to lug it inside. It perished in the cold. 😖 So, now darling Daniel is three and I decided to begin again.

Maybe by the time Daniel is 13, I'll have HIM lugging it in out of the cold. (:

@tango I am totally behind you! I bought this tree from a nursery and they shipped it to me. I think it was about a year or two old. It has tripled in size since I've had it!

It looks like a sensitive tree, but it isn't. The leaves only fold up at night, not upon touch- kinda like a bigger Mimosa tree.

I was told to get this tree or a Texas ... a Texas ... I forgot. It's supposed to be similar but it does not bring as much joy because it stays so small. It takes FOREVER to grow.

EDIT: Texas Ebony. If someone tells you to get that, pass. 😉

Mine’s asleep 😴 right now. She should feel alot better since I fed her and got the bug’s off. They always look so sad when there sleeping. Plus she lost half her leaves after repotting her. I feel it was to early to repot her but she wasn’t doing very well and I tried everything but repot. My gut told me to do it. Now even though she doesn’t look it she’s doing better. She’s a tough cookie.
