They are so fascinating! I'm fighting this urge to get one ......lol
@jellyjellz the only reason I would tell you not to get one is because they become like PokΓ©mon, gotta have them all 😭 I started with this Cape in February and now I have 5 different varieties of drosera with at least 3 more on my β€œnext to buy” list πŸ˜…πŸ€£
@Cheyguy LOL My 9yr old son keeps asking for this one&or a pitcher plant ...I took him to Lowes w me last week&I hear him coming up behind me yelling mom,mom ,mom ,omg they have it come quick&he runs to the spot where they were, picks up the glass dome they had it in &was like please please this is the only thing I want .....As beautiful of a plant that it was ,I could only tell this poor kid that only if we go look everything up about the care 1st....So this 1 or the pitcher is most likely going to be the next plant I get .lol.
@jellyjellz I would definitely pick the cape over the pitcher plant ! Sundews in general are much easier for beginners and he will see much quicker reward for his efforts with a cape 😊 I actually just got one of the glass dome Nepenthes they have at Lowe’s right now, I’ve had it about two weeks. poor thing was dying in there but it’s finally starting to grow again πŸ˜πŸ˜…
Well that's good &hopefully it continues to do well too .Thanks so much for the advice too i will definitely keep that in mind.Especially when I think about how much I need the plant to live. Not only because "I" want it to ,but since its for my kid.Lol.It could make or break his entire little like for this if you know what I mean. 🌱🌿😊😊😊
