I have a Purple Dracaena plant. I just repotted it a coup...

I have a Purple Dracaena plant. I just repotted it a couple of weeks ago. It has dropped most of its leaves and I had hoped to take the top off so that it would develop a thicker trunk. But now that it’s dropping all of its leaves I don’t know what to do with it now. Can someone give me some advice to help my poor baby? I’m even wondering if I should repot it with different soil? I had used a Miracle Grow soil and added peat moss, some sand and perlite to the soil, but I think I just made the soil hold “more” water than help with the drainage of water! Is this why it is dropping leaves? Please Help!!
@MyPlantMom Hi Susan! We will need pictures and a description of your plants conditions and sharing your info card. Where does your plant live? How do you water? How much light and from which direction is it coming if it’s the sun. What’s the temperature, what’s your climate like?

Repotting is quite stressful for plants, so please don’t repot it again so soon before we know what the problem is. But in the future, you will not need to add peat to a potting mix, that will certainly already have more than enough moisture retaining ingredients.
