Hi. Im new to the app but have a lot of house plants of all variety. I have a prayer plant that is in water and it keeps wilting and drying out. I can't seem to get it to grow in anything. Can anyone help? Sorry forgot to say. Just put in the water about a month ago. I have added indoor plant food to the water each time I change the water. Roughly every 3-5 days

So, the reason I asked how long it's been in water is because water doesn't provide plants with any of the essential nutrients they would normally get from soil, specifically nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus. Plants can survive for a while in water alone, but without adding these necessary nutrients, eventually it will start to decline. It's also important to regularly change out the water to replenish its oxygen, since the longer water sits the less oxygen it has available for the roots.
I just put it in water about a month ago and add indoor plant food every water change.
