@Plants4Prez Hi Julia, welcome to Greg!

How long have you had it in this window? If you just got it, you don't know if it's happy in this location anyway. If it starts to grow all stretched out, that is called etiolation. It's searching for higher light. You can / should get it a grow light/ring if it starts that. Otherwise, as long as it doesn't get too drafty/cold (keep it at least 50Β°F - 60Β°F in your house), and you water it only once the substrate has gone dry (probably every 3 to 4 weeks?) it should be fine through the winter inside, but may not grow a lot until Spring.

Was that labeled as a sedum, or are you going by a Greg ID?
I have a bunch of cactus and succulents that I over winter inside in the gloomy MN winter. They all make it just fine (as long as I remember to water them 😬) As Melissa said you could give it a grow light, but I haven’t for mine in the 10 years I’ve been growing cactus and succulents. Plus you now have Greg to as questions to!
@UltraKoreanfir thank you so much! I just got this plant and the label was sedum treleasei.
@PricklyThumb thank you a lot your comment was helpful and now I am confident I can keep this cactus alive!
