Very droppy avo plant, what is this a sign of? How can I fix it or is too late?!
Is your avo grown from your own pit? Is it currently in water or soil and if in soil have you made sure it is well draining soil similar to a succulent. My concern is actually too much water or not enough drainage.
@MoeyFaerie yes its grown from a store bought avocado pit and it’s currently in an avocado plant soil blend with peat moss, perlite, lime and sand. The pot is also self draining.
@MoeyFaerie it has also been atleast 5 days since I last watered.
@Chuchumacandii hmmm. Possibly too frequent watering, too little water or not enough light. Plants always drive me crazy with how they can be droopy with too much water too little water or not enough light or too much light.
@MoeyFaerie Yes! For me as a beginner its really hard to determine what the problem is at all. But i will try a bit more light and little less water. Rn where im at its not too sunny and I am not sure if I will be able to get a indoor grow light, but ill try to catch the sun as much as possible!
@Chuchumacandii ahhh, I think you might have your problem then. Not enough light. How close is it to a window?
@MoeyFaerie Not super close, but about 10ft from a glass door.
Oh yeah, definitely needs more light
Heres 2 days later after getting some more sun on and off for about 2 hours. Lol I had to chase the sun around the house because its literally only out around sunset time!
@Chuchumacandii that is one happy looking avocado tree!! Yay!
