Ugh! I hate it when plants do that! So ungrateful! But I’m growing two Boston ferns and neither of your pictures look anything like one…maybe there are several varieties? Here’s a picture of mine:

@LaBori276 I always check the pot when I buy a new plant: a label with at least its Latin name is on it because as great Greg is, it often gets photo identification wrong…it thought my Jamaica Cactus was a Saguaro!

Argh Reed stem epidendrums, the bane of my existence. Had several, none made it. Maybe because I didn't know enough and they were still tiny babies. Two also came with mealies, doubt that was the sole problem, though
From what I know they need some serious light, but not direct. Does it get enough?

I had to do the same 😅 though I'm 99% certain they were dead anyway at that point. I really love those blooms, though. Maybe I'll forget the trouble I've had with them in a few years and try again with a mature plant 😀
