Should I repot or stake my Bamboo Palm?
Hi. The previous homeowner left this when they moved out 7 years ago. It’s actually still in the same pot. I’m not sure if I should repot it? Stake it up, or something else? I would most definitely repot it just to give it some fresh soil and maybe even wash the pot out (almost like making the bed with clean sheets 😂) definitely check the roots so you know all in all how its doing amd give them nice little wash (dont forget to trim any dead roots and then cover those bad boys in some cinnamon. It may need a bigger or maybe a smaller one. Either way im sure itll thank you for it
You never really know until you pull it out of the pot if it needs a bigger size 😊 it’s always good to repot every year or 2 just to give the plant new nutrients through the soil, get rid of any unwanted pests that may be lurking, etc. you’ll probably see some new growth once you do that too 💚
