Hi everyone! I just got this gorgeous cactus and need opinions on how to take care of her!

Hi @CactusPlant such a cutie little patootie cactus 🌵! Great it’s in a pot with drainage 🙌! I’m concerned however about carnivorous soil mix. That’s going to have too much soil retaining things like sphagnum moss. I’d put it in straight cactus mix and water only when completely dried out. They’re a desert 🏜️ cactus from SW states or Mexico. Maya will want a very bright spot in your house with direct sun. Having Maya 5 feet from light and a north location may not be ideal. If you have a south facing window she’ll be happier there.
