Have you tried heavy duty work gloves? They seem to keep the love bites from getting through. Also, I saw a short landscaping video, and the worker used tongs to move the cactus. #CactusClique

@DesertGreen I got hooked, hardcore, in 2021. Then I moved, and got more hardcore with cactus. But then I got a mealiebug problem, and the honeymoon was over. The addiction just switched to euphorbia lol. I'm really hesitant to add any more round, wooly cactus, as they're too hard to groom and keep track of.

I have two solos of that species, one of which got crazy sun stress due to the sun + I'm certain I cleaned it with something that caused it to go really red.

@DesertGreen I bought a pair of gloves 🧤 before repotting. My husband got poked a bit getting the cacti 🌵 out of the 📦 box. This was part of a plant mail order .
@thenonnon might have to call that one a red ghost 👻 organ pipe!
