What’s going on with my Little Jewels (Pachyphytum Compactum)? I don’t understand, I’ve been watering it once a week but it is yellowing and drying out faster and faster. Does it need more water or a different pot? It is currently planted in terracotta. Substrate is a Carolina red sand and gardening soil mix. Although, probably mostly sand than soil…. #Succulents #LittleJewel #planthelp

@ZenfrogZero Hi Jensen! Once a week is probably too much! They like to be totally dry for a few days between waterings! Also make sure they are in BRIGHT indirect light! They need the light! They are a desert plant so water isn’t their friend but they gotta have a little to survive- Good Luck!🪴
@Ponytailmom Thank you! I’ll try once every two weeks instead. They did start dropping leaves as it got colder in my college dorm room but I’m back at my parent’s house for break and it’s a little warmer. I could be watering them too much too though so I’ll take your advice. 👍
