Look at what i just picked up at the grocery store. I don't want to kill her. I kill these every time. Do I repot her?
@sillyplantgirl
Wait till it is complete dry before watering it is a really easy plant to get root
i meannnn there’s not much soil to water if you don’t repot her
Hi Misty~ what a Gorgeous Echiveria!! Wow!! Yes, you should repot it soon, primarily to change out the soil it came with. Nursery grower pots usually contain regular, peat-heavy potting soil. This type of soil retains far too much water for an Echeveria, which can lead to root rot. If you need help with pot and soil- I’m happy to help. Aelea is correct- only water when soil is completely dry. Let me know about repotting! What a great find at the grocery store!!
@planthoe40 yes, you should repot her I have one of these and it started dying πŸ˜… but I repotted her and everything was fine.
@SillyPlantGirl I use cactus soil throughout all my plants. I don't have the room for multiple dirt mixes. I have 4 bags of perlite in it, 3 bags of better gro special orchid bark in it and I bag of biochar.
