I came on Greg to get help with my plants. Once here, there’s a lot of people asking questions about their plants. I have only tried to help. Today/tonight- I answered 2 questions from the same person. The remarks I got back were uncalled for and rude. I’m going to take a break.

Catherine 🙁 it makes me feel so upset that they acted this way. I am relatively new to Greg, and I’ve received a helpful comment and have seen many of your helpful comments on others post. You are super appreciated! And we value your help and opinion. Please don’t let miserable people ruin something for you. They are not worth it.
I posted a picture of my cannabis plant the other day- and was attacked in my comments by a random stranger. Calling me a p*dophile for absolutely no reason.
And the same Greg community that you know and love, are the ones that helped me in that moment. Without hesitation, just plant friends protecting each other.

Oh no Catherine! @SillyPlantGirl I’m sorry that happened. That’s not in the Greg spirit! I do find most people on here are very friendly and helpful, but every once in a while we get a bad egg. I hope it doesn’t sour your whole experience on the app 🤍🌿

Hi Catherine. Please don’t let one inappropriate person influence your decision about Greg. That’s one person compared to all the rest of us who really appreciate you and love your posts. I once had someone, on Greg, ridicule my photos. This person was incredibly rude and insisted my photos were all AI. Even though many of the photos I did prior to AI. I would never use it. He kept insisting on having his own opinion. I blocked that person. I’m sorry, offhand, I do not remember how to do that but there is a way to block people on Greg just like there is on Facebook. Please stay. 🫶 Bob 
Thanks everyone. There was 1 guy who yelled at me for calling my Monstera Swiss Cheese vine…. A Monstera Swiss Cheese Vine. Told me to get educated. I blocked him. Two days ago I answered a question for guy named Kent (don’t remember entire name), he came back with “well I don’t have a lab” plus a whole rant. Yesterday he asked another question- I answered it- he told me when I answer, nobody else does. I told him to add hashtags and he’d get more answers”, then I blocked him. I’m not always right in my answers, and if I don’t know- I won’t answer. And before I do answer, especially new plant parents- I will look up so I can give details. At the end of the day, I love Greg. This is my 3rd year on here. Towards the end of last year, I had to take a break because of my health, but I missed being here. You have all made me feel really good and I appreciate it. Thank you. 🪴💕
