Hi again, Since we r still not to the point i can bring my plants in, i put them all on covered baxl porch (which was NOT easy), left my golden, jade & marble queen pothos to guard (theyre my flying monkeys!) and took to the scissors!! Most to lose were my Swiss Cheese plants that prior to rhis occupied 3 moss poles i have filled w/Sphagum moss so spritzed them, then went to cutting) This left so many nodes and stems i hope to replicate them plus quite a few more once i can find my propogation equipment (gonna try the box labeled โ€œplant access.โ€œ yah?) lol. Monsteras grow roots that u almost can watch as they become able to plant!! My daughter in law has a few beautiful swiss cheeses just fom my leggy stems i pruned & i think it took 2 weeks to root to 2-1/2โ€œ! As sad as i am, we just start all over again. I waited a few days to determine it was asystole & they never took another breath !! I have determined that sunburn is far worse that cold damage since ive rescued all the cold damage plants ive had. Ill keep u all updated so u can enjpy the continued Saga of โ€œWhat not to do in the care of ur plantsโ€œ. Im a scholar now!!!! WATCH THIS SPACE!!!๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿชด๐ŸŒฟโค๏ธโœŒ๏ธ
Okay! You know know will be here ๐Ÿ˜‰
@BuffCaperspurge oh no ๐Ÿ™ˆ Iโ€™ve missed the lead up to all this! What happened? I need the recap!
@MariansOasis hard to explain but i had to keepy plants outside our new home the first day of our move. Tge ones that got the afternoon sun (70 degrees) all got sun burned, i thought moving to shade was the answer after Bash & i high & lightly sprinkled the green, but they all just got worse!! The only one unaffected seemed to be my Yucca. Cant say much more but i waited a few dats to assess it & had to start cutting just to save any of my gorgeous plants !! I still dont get how a relatively cool day could do this much damage in one afternoon!!!.....more to follow!!
@BuffCaperspurge ๐Ÿ™ˆ oh no ๐Ÿ™Š I hate it when stuff like that happens! I almost forgot about a philodendron that Iโ€™d hosed off outside yesterday. Phew ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ remembered at the height of the day โ˜€๏ธ but it was fine. I hope your guys and gals recover!!!! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ™Œ
