How can I get my pink princess to grow wide and bushy not tall and lanky

Their natural growth is a long stem growing up. If you chop it frequently it will become more bushy. Also, increasing the light will help keep the internodes shorter (the stem between each leaf or node), in turn looking more bushy and less leggy. Philodendron that are not self heading will give you that lush bushy look you are looking for.
