Is my new Hoya cutting blooming?

Keeping my eye on this cutting. I just got these Hoya cuttings from an Etsy seller and I’m wondering if this is the start of a bloom?

I’m super excited, but my pocketbook hopes it’s not, because I promised myself no more Hoyas until I can get one to bloom. 🀣

It is a peduncle! Because it is an unrooted cutting, it will probably not bloom right now, but it could potentially rebloom there in the future.
Yes it is!! That’s a peduncle for sure. It may not fully go through the bloom cycle since it’s a fresh cutting and will likely need to direct more energy to developing roots. You may lose the buds coming from the peduncle, but do not cut off the peduncle, they will rebloom when ready!
@Alinaa thank you! It has some roots but I wasn’t sure if it would fully bloom since it is focusing most of its energy on root production right now. I’m just happy it’s throwing a peduncle out. I’ll keep my eye on it but won’t be sad if it doesn’t mature. I think I will still count it as an attempt to bloom, giving me the ok to add more Hoyas to my collection… eventually. Thank you!
Oh nice!! I think it will still spend more time rooting for a bit. But since it has some roots let’s hope it can hold on since it has a way to go in the process! Make sure it has proper nutrients and light to encourage it.
