Unamed plants thrive under the TV
it takes me quite a while to onboard new plants onto the app (indecisive with names) but these unamed pals have been loving their time underneath the tv. the extra warmth must be reminding them of home π π³. #AirPlant #HappyPlants #missingfromgreg
@AguaViviente I tried giving temporary names to a few but it didnβt feel right at all π. between pups/propagating Iβm not sure Iβll ever catch up but Iβm currently around 40% and my goal for May is to get above 50%
@jr and @AguaViviente when you enter your plant on the plant card, where it asks you for a name of the plant, if you click on the dice Greg will give you name suggestions, makes life easier, I also use little post it notes with the plant names and tape it onto their planter π€ͺπΏπ±
@Sassylimey the name generator is definitely useful. I used it for my first few plants until I settled on a naming theme so the challenge is partly self inflicted π
. Iβve started labeling my pots/plants and agree that does make it much easier to keep track of everyone
@jr oh wow Iβm jealous. Now it make me wanting to order more air plants. I love them because they are so easy to care for.
@KikiGoldblatt agreed theyβre so fun to watch grow. Iβve been so tempted by air plant of the month subscriptions but Iβm trying to be strong and stick with only expanding through pups
@jr I hear ya. I would love to join a subscription like that. I would so enjoy that. Doesnβt take up much room at all and watching them grow. Where did you get those from? They are just stunning. Let me know cause I may order from them. Thank you.
@KikiGoldblatt my favorite place to get them is Air Plant Hub in Vacaville, CA. a chunk of these are my pups but either way thatβs the only place I buy from now. the website is great, pricing is great, selection is awesome and I like supporting a smaller family based operation
@jr thank you so much. I really appreciate that. I like supporting family based operations as well. Especially the smaller ones.
