Hello; I’m also new to plants but I can share what I’ve learned so far. You want to loosen up the soil first, just give the pot a little squeeze. Then pull the plant out and start gently taking off the old soil from the roots, you may lose some roots, but that’s ok. Make sure to get rid of any roots that look like they’re rotted. Get a pot that’s about 1-2 inches larger than the root ball of the plant. Use a β€œchunky” soil mix (regular soil, perlite, and orchid bark) and fill the bottom of the pot about two inches and then place the plant in, fill soil around the plant and give it a shimmy and shake to settle the soil. Make sure there’s an inch left between the top of the pot and the top of the soil. Give Cynthia a GOOOOOOOODDD drink of water and watch her flourish in her new home
