I was looking at my fern, and there are these hard growth...

I was looking at my fern, and there are these hard growths coming out of the soil - are these little ferns starting? What do i do? Lol

Yes! It's how ferns spread. They send rhizomes and new shoots! Just don't touch it too much :)
