How would I start these to grow roots? Iv never tried to grow store bought garlic. #PlantsMakePeopleHappy

Stick em straight in the dirty with the pointy end up πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‰ They generally take the hint and start to do their own thing from that point. Although I've found it's about a 50/50 success rate with the store-bought stuff πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Put it in a small pot cover the clove about 3/4 away with dirt of course with a little stem up as mentioned earlier. Water it very lightly. Then place a clear cup over it. This creates a little greenhouse over your young Plant. οΏΌ

ive done store bought onion. Put it in wayer till you see a tiny bit of yellowing and then put in in soil because i heard onion and garlic are basically the same.
