Please help! Whenever my mojito plant starts pushing out a new leaf an older one starts getting like this until it just dies off. It gets a good amount of sun and water to my knowledge. I even gave it some fertilizer to see if that would stop it but no luck. Has this happened to anyone else? Please help however you can, I really want this guy to thrive โค๏ธ

It's normal for this to happen. It's the leaf cycle
@Araceae it seems to only be able to keep 2 leaves at a time alive though is that normal?
@SageKitty that is dependent on your lighting. They can only hold as many leaves as their light conditions permits.

Or if your plant is rootbound that can also cause it
@Araceae it gets a few hours of direct sunlight. I do see that some of its roots are starting to poke through the drainage holes of its pot though.
