Hello!
My plant, a small ball moss apparently, has been dying lately - stiff and dry. Is there anything I can do to help it recover?
2” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 year ago
That's an airplant, soak it in some kind of distilled/spring water as it can't have chemicals. You want to do that for like an hour but I usually do more. If it's still green after you soak you are good if not then it's dead. You want to put it upside down or on its side to drain after and I usually put it under a fan.
Hi, Diana! Your little air plant doesn't look bad in the picture. Be careful with this kind of air plant because soaking it for too long in water can cause it to rot. Unusually set a timer for 5 minutes. Then I shake them off gently.

These small ball moss plants are hard to keep alive, in my experience. If you don't give them frequent water, they can die. If they aren't getting enough light, they can die.

Do you have a current picture?
Thank you so much, it seems to have gotten better!
